The United Methodist Foundation of West Virginia, Inc. is excited to announce that the second in-person Academy of Faith and Generosity will be held on October 19-21 at Canaan Valley Resort in Davis, West Virginia. As we all know, in-person meeting plans are subject to change, depending on the status of the pandemic.
The event is open to both clergy and laity. Clergy attendees will earn 12 contact hours of continuing education and lay attendees will earn credit for an advanced course.
Do you struggle with continually trying to raise funds for mission and ministry? Have you read the books and nothing seems to change? Growing Generosity is dedicated to equipping pastors and laity to change the generosity culture in your church.
You will explore what generosity means and why it is so much more than simply paying bills and meeting the budget. You will leave with a renewed passion for growing generosity in your own life and the life of your church family. You will also leave with the practical tools and best practices to actually lead and implement what you’ve learned.
